Meet the board

Board Meeting Agendas

Board Meetings are typically held the fourth Monday of each month at WEWJA’s business office, 2 Wilson Avenue, Washington PA 15301, unless otherwise indicated.

As a public authority in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Washington-East Washington Joint Authority operates in accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act. This means Board meetings are publicly advertised, open to residents, and conducted with recorded votes and maintained minutes. The Authority provides opportunities for public comment before official action is taken, and any executive sessions are limited to specific matters permitted by law.

WEWJA Board meetings are open to the public and are publicly advertised. Meeting agendas and approved minutes are posted to provide transparency into the Authority’s operations and decision-making.

Individuals who wish to address the Board may do so. However, we kindly request that any issues first be directed to Customer Service so Authority staff can attempt to resolve the matter prior to a Board meeting. If the issue cannot be resolved, customers may be placed on the agenda for the next available Board meeting. Though advance notice is appreciated, individuals are not required to contact WEWJA prior to a Board meeting or be added to the agenda in order to be heard.
