Michael Cramer

Collection System Superintendent

Michael Cramer serves as the Collection System Superintendent for WEWJA, where he oversees the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Authority’s sanitary sewer collection system. In this role, he supervises collection system personnel and manages the maintenance and inspection of sewer mains, manholes, grinder pumps, and other critical infrastructure that convey wastewater throughout the service area.
Michael brings more than 20 years of experience in wastewater operations and collection system maintenance. Prior to joining WEWJA, he worked with the Mon Valley Sewage Authority, where he was responsible for collection system operations, sewer inspections, sampling, and maintenance of pump stations and treatment facilities.

He holds a Class A & E Wastewater Operator’s License from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Michael’s experience and hands-on expertise help ensure the reliability and performance of WEWJA’s sewer collection system and support the Authority’s efforts to protect public health and the environment.
